Sagemcom RT190-320 T2 HD / Sagemcom RT190-500 T2 HD Details

There aren't many Freeview HD Recorder Boxes on the market and Sagemcom are one of the first to release a fully working Freeview HD Recorder. Sagemcom have released two varieties of the Sagemcom RT190 Freeview HD Recorder. The first is a Freeview HD Recorder that has a 320GB hard drive and the second a 500GB version.

Both the Sagemcom RT190-320 T2 Freeview HD Recorder and the Sagemcom RT190-500 T2 HD Freeview HD Recorder offer full and unlimited access to all the currently available Freeview HD channels with the addition on a 8-day EPG along with the ability to record Freeview HD programs.

The Sagemcom RT190-320 T2 Freeview HD Recorder and the Sagemcom RT190-500 T2 HD Freeview HD Recorder both contain an all important twin tuner. This facility means that you can record two different channels at the same time, as well as pause and rewind live TV - the same service as Sky Plus and Virgin currently offer on their digital TV services. For those of you who don't like to miss your favourite Freeview HD tv program, the ability to do a "Series recording" is also available with this Freeview HD Receiver. Sagemcom say that the 320GB version will give you around 160 hours of Freeview HD (SD) recording. The larger 500GB version will be able to offer 250 hours of TV (SD) recording.

Sagemcom RT190-320 T2 HD / Sagemcom RT190-500 T2 HD Review

This Freeview HD Box with built in recorder has not been tried and tested by HD Freeview Box.com so we cannot give you a full review just yet. The box is small, stylish and compact so it will fit right in with all modern TV systems. There is no mention of a Ethernet port or USB port as of yet so you may not be able to access those interactive services as you can with other Freeview HD Boxes. Although Sagemcom is a relatively small and unknown brand this product appears well made and well thought out. The memory is of a good size (especially the 500GB version) so you will be able to give a lot of Freeview HD TV stored on there without worrying about running out of space.
