The Vestel T8300 HD Freeview Box was the very first HD Freeview box to receive the offical Freeview HD certification. This is a certification which guarentees the device has support for all the HD Freeview and SD channels. Whilst Vestel is a relatively small company and one you may not have heard of they are not newcomers to the electronics industry. In fact, Vestel often supply white label hardware to other companies for rebranding. Two such companies are Maplin and Proline.

Amongst other features, the Vestel T8300 HD Freeview Box will offer HDMI and SPDIF support for your audio. In terms of connectivity the Vestel T8300 HD Freeview Box has Ethernet and USB ports. The Ethernet connection will support interactive or streaming services, but no details have been given.
